Today we're focusing on the diet side of things for fat burning tips and weight loss strategies.
1. Don't be afraid of fats. There are a lot of good fats out there! Omega 3's - Fish, wild meats, fish oil tablets.
2. Avoid all trans fats! These have no place in your diet. Your body does not need trans fats. Packaged foods, frozen foods, fast foods & most importantly margerines often have a high level of trans fat content.
3. Never ingest fructose before your workout. This can actually slow your metabolic rate and interfere with fat burning!
4. Eat plenty of antioxidant-rich foods, like berries (blueberries are great!), cauliflower, broccoli, tea etc.
5. Avoid alcohol, soft drinks & fruit juice. Stick with water, teas and coffees. Try drinking different types of teas, green, black etc. They all have different health benefits.
